Leading the Way

Some people see life as little more than a motion,
they want to get through each day with no commotion.

A tear is a tear,
and a smile a smile,
anything felt,
should last only a while.

Life lead this way is not life at all,
for life lead this way is nothing more than a stall.

Some people see life as a chance to proclaim,
that they love every moment including the pain.

A tear’s not a tear,
and a smile not a smile,
for each is a chance,
to grow and inch or a mile.

Each breath that we take,
is proof we’re not dead.
And every experience that we cherish,
is a life that’s well lead.
